    Hi, Jimmy Anderson!
    I read your message from 26.11.2025 07:37

    What Ron did mean by "both of you"? Hurry and his owl? ;-)
    Hermione?

    Yes. It was probably Monday, when I sent it, a hard day in Russia. ;)
    It is a hard day on the other side of the pond, too? Or it is a Russian phenomen only? ;-)

    Whew - it was a rough week... Had a death in the family...

    preach the funeral though...

    Monday's hard nature permeates the Western culture, e.g.

    /Blue Monday/ by Smiley Lewis, covered by Fats Domino
    /Stormy Monday/, by T-Bone Walker

    I also remember /Monday, Monday/ by The Mamas and The
    Papas, but is not sad enough.

    1985 "Manic Monday" by The Bangles, a great song too!

    ========
    It's just another manic Monday
    I wish it was Sunday
    'Cause that's my fun day
    My I don't have to run day
    ========

    For sure, that sounds familiar to most. :-)

    ... End of message, Anton. Confused? Me too! :-)

    We have here different cultures. First one drinks hard on Sunday, the last day of the week after work, another one starts week gaily on Sunday. ;-)

    People fighting in Putin's stupid war drink every day, because death is breathing down their necks day in, day out.
    It's just sad that you are a daft bloke who can't see it himself and would rather sit at home like a mug, banging out an endless load of silly propaganda on Fidonet :)

    Best regards,

    Seen in the blog of a Russian psychologist:

    Upon working without weekends for a couple weeks,
    Monday does not seem so horrible, but one's life
    does.
